About GDSI

Our Mission | Supporting Strong Leadership for the Social Sector

GDSI Leadership partners with mission-driven organizations to navigate leadership transitions and build governance, teams, and executives that are aligned, resilient, and equipped for success — strengthening leadership systems in ways that advance equity, trust, and long-term impact, especially during pivotal moments of change and innovation.

What We Do | A Leadership Practice for Mission-Driven Organizations

GDSI Leadership is a talent advisory firm specializing in values-based executive search, board development, organizational and role design, and interim leadership to meet the needs of a rapidly evolving social sector. We partner with nonprofits, advocacy organizations, philanthropies, and coalitions navigating leadership transitions, inception moments, organizational redesign, growth, consolidation, and shifting sector demands — helping them build leadership that is not only effective, but aligned with mission, values, and context. Our approach is grounded in the belief that leadership success is not defined by a single role, but by the alignment between governance, organizational design, executive leadership, and teams.

Our Values | A Human-Centered Approach to Talent, Transition, and Transformation

We are guided by core values of integrity, equity, and entrepreneurship in all that we do and center creativity, humanity, purpose, and high-touch service for clients, candidates, and stakeholders in our daily craft and process designs.
