Jessi Davison is an Associate with GDSI Leadership, where she partners with mission-driven organizations to identify, engage, and steward high-impact talent. Drawing on more than a decade of experience working alongside executive leaders and search teams, she brings a thoughtful, strategic, and relationship-centered approach to supporting clients and candidates throughout the search process.

Earlier in her career, Jessi worked with the Chairman and CEO of Ken Clark Partners, an executive recruiting firm, where she gained firsthand experience in the relationship management, candidate engagement, and coordination that underpin a successful search. She later joined NPAG, where she worked in close partnership with GDSI Leadership founder Katherine Jacobs on nonprofit recruitment engagements. In that role, she helped steward candidates and clients throughout the search process, supported candidate outreach and communications, and contributed to the delivery of searches across the nonprofit sector. Most recently, Jessi served as Chief of Staff at CrucialPoint, where she partnered directly with the company’s founder to oversee strategic initiatives, recruitment, organizational priorities, and day-to-day operations. Together, her experience across corporate recruiting, nonprofit search, executive partnership, and organizational leadership has shaped the thoughtful, responsive, and client-focused approach she brings to every engagement.

Known for her thoughtful approach, curiosity, and ability to build genuine connections, Jessi believes successful recruitment is about more than matching qualifications to a job description. She enjoys partnering with clients to identify candidates whose experience, values, and visions are aligned with an organization's mission and long-term goals.

Jessi earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Stony Brook University. During her undergraduate studies, she participated in the NIH-funded BioPREP program and was awarded a Minority Access to Research Careers (MARC) Fellowship, conducting research in developmental and cell biology. Her scientific training continues to inform her analytical thinking, attention to detail, and research-driven approach to recruitment.

Forever a New Yorker, Jessi now lives in southeastern Pennsylvania. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, writing, crafting, and spending time with her dog, Dolores.
